Some men of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad met their waterloo on Thursday after they allegedly invaded a hotel in Abule Egba area of Lagos State. A
ccording to a report gathered SARS operatives had invaded the hotel with a motive to arrest internet fraudsters popularly known as Yahoo Boys.
The incident saw the SARS operatives flogged and tortured by soldiers present at the hotel said to be owned by a senior army official.
It was reported that the hotel was invaded by the police officers to extort money from some boys who lodged at the hotel unknowingly to them, soldiers were present in the hotel.
This is coming after men of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad allegedly killed two Hausa men in Ogun State while chasing yahoo boys who ran into the market.
The incident which happened at Olomore, in Abeokuta, Ogun State stirred fear among residents after the SARS officers shot two traders.
